Impartial Election Observation in the US

US elections are among the most challenged and least transparent globally. Partisan and decentralized oversight of the electoral process contributes to mistrust and confusion among voters. Non-partisan election observers, domestic or international, are often not allowed reasonable access to the process. Non-partisan observation by impartial actors, a common and typically codified global practice, is absent in most swing states. Civic Hub is working with state, county, and civic actors to open up civic space in the US to allow global and domestic civic actors better access to elections based on international principles and best practices.
