Oral Histories and Knowledge Management

Thousands of international development projects and staff were terminated with no process to retain and organize records about what had been done, what worked, and what did not.  Collecting this kind of data must be the starting point to establish how international development should be reformed. Civic Hub US is working with project staff and leadership to record lessons, key documents, and oral histories of terminated projects for future study and reform. We welcome and collaborate with ongoing efforts such as those by the Center for Development History, DRGHub, Democracy Alliance and other emerging efforts to preserve international development knowledge and data, while specifically focusing on recording oral histories for the almost 5,600 recently closed projects. Please contact us info@civichub-us.org if your project is one of them!
